Trojans Advance to District Final

  The Trojans opened their Class 5 District 9 tournament run with a flurry on Wednesday night. Leading 22-3 after one quarter, Ryan Meyers' squad eased to a 72-40 win. Richard Rose had 33 points, including 20 in the first quarter. Troy will play Ft. Zumwalt South in the District Final on Friday night at Wentzville Timberland

Oechsner 2nd At State

    Brian Oechsner finished 2nd in the Class 4 152 pound division at the Missouri State Wrestling Championships. As a team, Troy finished in a menage a trios tie for 20th in Class 4 with 23 team points.

Trojans Over Zumwalt West

    Troy 78 Ft. Zumwalt West 64. Trojans finish the regular season 23-3 in Ryan Meyers' first season as Head Coach. The Trojans will be the #1 seed in the District 9 tournament beginning Monday at Ft. Zumwalt West.

State Wrestling: Torjan Wrestlers go 2-2 in 1st Rd

Jake Heisse suffered a major decision loss (17-8) to Kyle Campbell of Lee's Summit to close out the 1st round for Troy. Trojan wrestlers went 2-2 in the 1st round.

Oechsner Wins District Title; Troy Sends 4 To State

    Brian Oechsner won the 152 pound title at the Class 4 District 3 wrestling tournament at Jefferson City on Saturday. He scored an 11-1 major decision over Chris Chionuma of Blue Springs.

Here are the four Troy wrestlers who advanced to the State Tournament, Feb 15-17 at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri.

Trojanettes Enjoying 3 Game Win Streak

    With a 55-46 win over Francis Howell on Feb. 2, the Troy Buchanan Trojanettes improved to 11-12 on the season and 3-3 in the GAC South. Jenna Freise and Tara Peasel each had 15 points to lead Troy.

Trojans Beat Eureka 63-51

    The Trojans of Troy Buchanan move to 21-3 with a 63-51 win over Eureka. Craig Bals led all scorers with 19 points. Tyler Peasel had 18. Troy won on the strength of a 23-5 second quarter.

    The Varsity boys basketball team defeated Francis Howell 75-48 on Friday night to move to 20-3 on the season. Richard Rose and Kent Rau each had 15 points while Josh Hirth had 13. Rau's 15 points came on five three-pointers.
