    Athletic Directors across the State are voting now on whether or not Public and Private schools in Missouri should have separate state tournaments. Below is a link to a Columbia Tribune article about why it would be a bad idea to have separate state tournaments.

Melanie Schmit to Coach TBHS Girls
    Melanie Schmit has been named the new Head Girls Basketball Coach at Troy Buchanan. Schmit went 177-69 in nine seasons at New Haven. Her team won the Class 1 State Championship in 2002.

Trojanettes Pick Up Two GAC Wins
    The Varsity soccer Trojanettes picked up wins this week over Wentzville Timberland and Ft. Zumwalt North. The wins brought the team's record on the season to 7-7-0.
    Against Timberland, Troy got on the board first with a goal from Brittany Waldrop three minutes into the game. Nicole Williams scored midway through the first half to make the score 2-0 at the half. Rebecca Schwartz and Lauren Taylor recorded assists on the goals. Wentzville broke the shutout with approximately four minutes to go in the game, but Phil Brock's squad held on for the win.
    On Wednesday, the Trojanettes beat Ft. Zumwalt North 3-1. Nicole Williams and Brittany Waldrop again were the goal scorers with Williams scoring twice. Lauren Taylor picked up two assists. Troy outshot the Lady Panthers 18-4 on the day.

Williams Scores 3 as Trojanettes Win.
    Nicole Williams scored three goals to lead Phil Brock's squad over Warrenton 3-0. Cinda Menne, Rebecca Schwartz and Lauren Taylor notched an assist each. Brittany Job made 3 saves in earning the shutout.
