Fackler Qualifies for State in Cross Country

Caitlin Fackler will be the lone TBHS representative in the Class 4 State Cross Country meet. She qualified out of Sectional 3 in Columbia, MO with a time of 20:19:19.

Volleyball Wins Sectional, Falls in Quarters

    The Varsity Volleyball team, taking a 17-15-1 record into their Sectional match against Francis Howell Central, upset the Lady Spartans in the 4:30 contest on Saturday but fell to the Lady Longhorns of Parkway West in the Quarterfinal game directly following their Sectional game. Parkway West was ranked #7 in the final regular season Large Schools Post-Dispatch Poll.

Volleyball Wins District

The Varsity Volleyball team, seeded sixth in their district, upset 2nd seeded Hannibal and then 4th seeded Columbia Rock Bridge in back-to-back games last Thursday to win the district crown. They faced Francis Howell Central on Saturday in the Sectional contest. Stat Sheets

Varsity Volleyball Advances in Districts

    Varsity Volleyball swept Columbia Hickman on Tuesday night on the Kewpies' home court in the opening round of District play. The Trojanettes, who won 25-20 and 25-18 over Hickman, advanced to play Hannibal on Thursday night at Hickman

Varsity Soccer goes 1-0-1, JV 2-0

    Varsity Soccer won one and tied one in recent action. They tied Hannibal 2-2 on two goals by Kevin Ervin and beat Fulton 2-1 on goals by Brian Oechsner and Lane Pagano. The JV team posted wins against Hannibal and Fulton to tie the best record in program history with one game remaining.

    Varsity Soccer posted wins on Thursday and Friday Nights. Kevin Ervin's goal in Double OT beat Warrenton 1-0 on Thursday night and the team topped Hillsboro 4-0 on Friday.

  • The JV Soccer Trojans used a goal by Danny Ruckman to beat Howell North 1-0.

    Softball Falls, Varsity Soccer Wins

  •     3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning Friday ended the season for the young Lady Trojans. After Troy scored two runs in the top of the 1st inning, Ft. Zumwalt West scored three runs in the final frame to take the Class 4 District 9 crown. Game story

    Lady Trojans Advance to District Final

        The Varsity Softball Lady Trojans upset Wentzville Timberland 2-0 Thursday in the Class 4 District 9 Semifinals. It took nine innings, but the Lady Trojans beat the Lady Wolves, ranked #10 in the latest Post-Dispatch Poll, on their home diamond to advance to the Championship game at 4 pm today against #2 Ft. Zumwalt West. The Lady Trojans will likely throw Sophomore Liz Grover, who had a .46 ERA through 121.3 innings pitched and has allowed one run in two games thus far in District play.
        At the plate, each team features premier players. The Jags' Senior star, Ashley Knehans, batted .483 in the regular season with 43 hits, 29 runs scored and 22 RBIs. Troy's Jackey Branham was second in the GAC South to Knehans with a .453 average, 34 hits and 18 RBIs.

    Troy Ties St. Francis Borgia

        St. Francis Borgia pushed first in Varsity soccer action Wednesday night at TBHS, but the Trojans pushed back in the 69th minute and held on through 2 overtime periods to preserve a 1-1 tie. Bubba Rau took a pass from Kevin Ervin inside the Borgia penalty box and converted the shot past a diving keeper to net the equalizer. Borgia brought a #6 Post-Dispatch Small Schools ranking into the match. The JV match saw Troy win 4-0.

    Soccer --Troy over Francis Howell

  • Matt Horack scored in the 64th minute Tuesday, on a pass from Kevin Ervin, what proved to be the only goal in a 1-0 Varsity Soccer win over Francis Howell.


  • JV Soccer tied FH 2-2


    •     Both teams are in action Wednesday Oct 4th against St. Francis Borgia at TBHS. Game times are 4 pm and 6 pm. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students.
